Marine City lost in girls’ basketball action to Royal Oak Shrine 42-30 on Saturday in the opening game of the Calihan Classic at the University of Detroit. Stephanie Abraham led the Mariners with nine points, while Morgan McConnell added eight. The tournament continues with Port Huron Northern facing Dearborn Divine Child in the second game.
