Gas prices have decreased across Michigan for the first time in nearly a month. According to AAA of Michigan, the current statewide daily gas price is about $2.56 per gallon for regular unleaded, about three pennies less than last week. Gas pumps in Metro Detroit are, on average, asking about $2.59 per gallon. In the local Port Huron area, area gas pumps hovering around the $2.55 mark however a handful of stations are selling regular unleaded for as low as $2.20 per gallon. Statewide, the highest prices can be found in Marquette, and the lowest prices are in the Flint area.
