Details on a redevelopment plan for the former Art Van building are expected tomorrow morning during a meeting of the Port Huron Downtown Development Authority. In a proposal outlined by City Manager James Freed, the building would be transformed into an outdoor concert venue and public market. Artist renderings show part of the building being utilized as a covered pavilion, and the other half demolished and turned into green space. The D.D.A. meets at 8:30am Wednesday morning at the Port Huron Municipal Office Center.
