Another A-list celebrity, power couple is splitting up!

It’s not been the season of love for Hollywood. People all over the country questioned whether they still believe in the “forever love” when they came across a message on Channing Tatum’s Instagram account.
“We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.”
The statement that they jointly posted came as a complete shock to their fans. In the March 2018 issue of Health magazine, Jenna Dewan said, “”I think there are such things as great fits. It is a great fit as long as you are growing together.”
Since tying the knot in 2009 after meeting on the set of “Step Up’ in 2006. Since, the couple has publicly displayed their affection for one another and their daughter, Everly. Tatum would say talk about how much their in in their relationship like in this People interview when he said, “We’ve been together, and nothing’s really changed. It’s pretty much the same as I’ve felt every day since I met her—and that’s just about perfect.”
But as we know, the life of a celebrity involves lots of traveling- and often not together. To keep their physical relationship alive with their conflicting schedules, they tried the ‘two week rule.’ Tatum told Howard Stern, “I’ve taken really long flights, like for nine hours on the ground, I’ve done it…It’s the most expensive booty call that I’ve ever [made].”
Back in 2012, Tatum revealed to People that, “I have a hard time actually seeing her on, like, FaceTime—it makes me miss her more and I start pouting,”
Maybe scheduling conflict is what brought the couple to this sad ending. Recently, Dewan started going to events without Tatum here and there. When asked where Tatum was, she didn’t skip a beat saying he was off working. Later in her interview with Health, she said somethings that now seem much more telling. She said, “There’s a real tangible physical connection. You know when Oprah asks, ‘What do you know for sure?’ The body does not lie. You can convince your mind of things, think you’re in love, but your body doesn’t lie. If your stomach is clenching or you feel attracted, that’s all for a reason. You can’t convince your body to feel something it doesn’t.”
Their entire split-statement read: ” Hey World! We have something we’d like to share. First off, it feels odd that we have to share this kind of thing with everyone, but it’s a consequence of the lives we have chosen to lead, which we also happen to be deeply grateful for. We’re living in an incredible moment in time, but it’ also a time where truth can easily get distorted into “alternative facts” 😉 So we want to share the truth so you know if you didn’t read it here, it is most certainly fiction. We have chosen to lovingly separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.”
The statement concluded with, “We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly. We won’t be commenting beyond this, and we thank you all in advance for respecting our family’s privacy. Sending lots of love to everyone, Chan&Jenna”
To respect their wishes, we did not reach out for a comment.
