Adalberto Mondesi had two hits, a home run, and drove in four runs on Wednesday, as the Kansas City Royals beat the Detroit Tigers 9-2 to sweep a two game series. Mikie Mahtook had a single and a home run to drive in both runs for the Tigers. Detroit has lost five in a row and heads to New York to open a four game series with the Yankees on Thursday night.
