A truck driver taking a shipment of berries to Canada has been arrested at the Blue Water Bridge by U.S. Customs & Border Protection for allegedly having more than 280
pounds of cocaine in the shipment. This happened during routine inspections Sunday as officers selected a commercial truck shipment of berries and found four boxes
containing plastic wrapped packages of narcotics. Officers conducted a field test on the substance and it tested positive for the properties of cocaine. The Canadian truck driver has made an initial appearance in federal court.
