Wings Finish Season With Bad Loss

The Detroit Red Wings closed out the season on Saturday night with a 7-1 home loss to the Buffalo Sabres.  Anthony Mantha scored the lone goal for the Wings, who finished the year on a two game losing streak and with a record of (32-40-10, the fourth worst record in the NHL.  Detroit will have a 9.5% chance of winning the NHL draft lottery and picking first overall, and can pick no worse than seventh overall.  The lottery is on Tuesday night in Toronto.  The NHL playoffs begin on Wednesday.
