Tornado sirens in Port Huron are currently out of order, that according to city officials. In a statement, City Manager James Freed says the city is experiencing technical difficulties with the siren system and that staff and contractors are working to resolve the issue. In the meantime, city residents are asked not to rely on the city’s siren network for warnings about weather and to instead monitor local media. The city was scheduled to perform tornado siren tests this week, that after sirens failed to go off during a statewide test last month.
