Sanilac County Sheriff investigating crash that injured three

Three are recovering after a crash in Sanilac County’s Watertown Township yesterday morning. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred around 10am at the intersection of South Sandusky Road and Miller Road. A westbound car driven by a 87 year old Marlette man allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a southbound car driven by a 66 year old man and 63 year old woman passenger both also from Marlette. All three were taken to an area hospital for treatment with the 87 year old requiring further medical attention and was transferred to a Saginaw area hospital. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected in the accident.
