Michigan gas pumps have taken a bit of a breather, with AAA of Michigan reporting statewide gas prices decreased nearly 15-cents this past week. The Current Statewide Average Daily Gas price is $2.75 cents a gallon, that’s about 9-cents less than this time last month and 27-cents less than this time last year. Across the state the most expensive gasoline is in the Marquette area and the cheapest gas is in Lansing. Here in the local area, pumps in Sanilac County are $2.77 a gallon, while pumps are as low as $2.70 in Macomb, and Lapeer and St. Clair County pumps are hovering around the $2.73 per gallon mark on average.
