The finishing touches are being put on a new $2-million city hall building in Marysville. City Manager Randy Fernandez says he hopes to move in to the building – just down the street from the current city hall – in about a months’ time. Fernandez tells WPHM he expects expects the new city hall to be fully operational by December 2nd of this year. At that time, city departments would vacate the current city hall building at 1111 Delaware Avenue. During Monday’s City Council Meeting, Marysville entered into a purchase agreement with  St. Clair County Regional Education Service Agency for the building. RESA has been leasing the top floor of the current city hall for the past year. Following the move to the new building, the entire 1111 Delaware Avenue building will be sold to RESA for $450,000. During a tour of the new city hall building Monday, Fernandez described it as a “no frills” city hall that meets the needs of “both today and going forward.”
