A new month means a new road construction project. Mayer Road between Gratiot and Rattle Run roads in St. Clair Township will be closed to traffic for the next three weeks. Crews will be repairing an existing bridge over the Rattle Run Creek. Local residents will have access up to the bridge but no through traffic will be allowed. The project is financed by the St. Clair County Road Commission at a total estimated cost for construction of $40,000. The work will be performed by St. Clair County Road Commission.
