AAA of Michigan says the average price of gas in Michigan increased about a dime over the past week. The current average daily gas price is $2.52 per gallon. That’s nine cents less than this time last year. Experts say demand is forecast to increase as we near the holiday season and that could lead to prices going
up even further. Most expensive gas price averages are in Ann Arbor, Metro Detroit and Benton Harbor. The least expensive gas can be found in Traverse City Jackson and Marquette. Sanilac County Pumps are at $2.45 a gallon, Macomb County Pumps are at $2.52 on average, and Lapeer and St. Clair County area pumps are approximately $2.49 per gallon on average.
