Sanilac County cabin a total loss after explosion

Two are recovering after their hunting cabin exploded in rural Sanilac County last night. Authorities were called to the property in the 4200 block of Ubly Road in Argyle Township shortly after 7pm Thursday on reports of an explosion. Two men were attempting to light a propane stove when the explosion occurred. A 30 year old man from Sandusky and a 43 year old man from St. Clair County’s Lynn Township were taken to an area hospital for treatment. A thirteen year old who was outside of the cabin at the time of the blast was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Fire crews from Argyle Township and Bingham Township responded to the explosion. The cabin was deemed a total loss.
