Jonathon Bernier made 39 saves on Sunday to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-1 win over the first place Boston Bruins at LCA. Andreas Athanasiou had two goals, while Branden Perlini scored his first of the season for the Wings. Detroit plays in Buffalo on Tuesday.
