Add the State of Michigan to the growing list of states shutting down bars and restaurants. Governor Gretchen Whitmer will be ordering all bars and “eat in” establishments to cease operations Monday. Restaurants will still be allowed to cook food for carry out and delivery orders. This comes after several dozen new cases of the COVID-19 virus were confirmed over the weekend, including one additional case in St. Clair County. The temporary shut down will begin at 3pm today and it is unknown when the restrictions will be lifted.
