Anyone who has ventured out to a grocery store over the past few weeks knows how difficult it is to keep shelves stocked with essential supplies. “It has been amazingly difficult… never seen anything like it,” said Brian Neiman, owner of Neiman’s Family Market. So when a truckload of groceries showed up at Neiman’s Family Market in St. Clair last week, the community showed up to lend a hand. About three dozen community members chipped in to help restock the shelves of the store. “It is remarkable, it’s people at their best… I couldn’t be more blessed,” Nieman told WPHM. He also says his staff are taking additional safety precautions in the store. Those include frequent cleaning of cash register belts, hand washing stations at the entrance to the store, and a curbside pickup option.
